FreeBSD is the famous and robust Unix ever made for public use. But the resource for its support is more less than all of common Operating System such Microsoft, Mac OS, and it’s famous rival Linux ,even though the handbook is more than good, but it’s not for newbie like me.

So if you want to learn and familiar with FreeBSD, and have a plan to use it as primer computing for daily use. Try my suggestion here :

1. Buy a MAC Laptop, I am not joking, Mac OS X is FreeBSD with Armani coats, tryto  familiar with it’s Terminal
2. Don’t be lazy to search FreeBSD community on mailing list on the web, mainly for your country, besides it’s matches with your language even more you can meet and have a project with the community, above all, it’s fun
3. Read the Documentation
4. Print the Handbook
5. The first thing you have to read and understand  installation instructions
6. Truly for FreeBSD Newbie, even more for Unix Student For People New to Both FreeBSD and Unix
7. Get the PC-BSD and install it on your lovely Laptop, dual or triple boot with your MAC.  It’s 100% FreeBSD that ready to use for daily computing.
